Fowlis is a small village, neighbour to Liff village which has a Primary School.
It's in the lower Sidlaw hills, 5 miles north-west of Dundee city centre and 6 miles south of Kirkton of Auchterhouse.
The church for both Liff and Fowlis is Fowlis St. Marnock's. The building is of artistic historical importance.

Most Sundays the 11 am service is in Muirhead,
but on the 1st Sunday of the month at 11am the public service of worship is in St Marnock's Fowlis instead. It's a Sunday congregation of around 40.
