We fight poverty, together with others:
internationally with Christian Aid and shoe box appeals.

Worshipping Christ - in diverse ways:

in church, we worship Christ, using a mix of the new and the old:
reading from the bible, singing songs, thoughts/reflections, story-telling and prayers led by worship leader and others.
All ages, including young people are always welcome.
Weekly worship times are at each 'location' ... view dates and times on the 'Events calendar' .
Services of worship are always public, everyone is welcome anytime.
  • Online services are anytime on youtube
  • Sunday morning services 9.30 each in both Abernyte and Inchture, 10 in Auchterhouse, 11 each in all Invergowrie, Longforgan, Muirhead
  • 'Joint services' are great for making new friendships, feeling the celebration and joy of a larger gathering in worship:
  •           for Fowlis, Liff, Lundie, Muirhead and Auchterhouse are on the LAST service of EACH month.
  •           for Abernyte, Inchture&Kinnaird, Invergowrie and Longforgan are on the FIRST Sunday of  Mrc., May, July, Sep., Nov. .
  • 'Calm evening services' are with symbol, thought, music, reflection, around a contemporary Iona Community liturgy - first Sunday monthly 6.30pm in Abernyte Church.
  • Liturgy in the Episcopal tradition is used for services of worship by our neighbours and friends on Sundays 10:30am in All Souls Invergowrie .
alternative ways, fresh expressions:

If you find 'Sunday morning church' difficult or want a bit of free space to explore, this may be just right for you.  (awaiting a new date, t.b.c. ...)
  • Messy Church’: family, friends, fun, faith, food, free!  Next: Saturday 25th January  – The theme for this evening of activity, games, informal worship, fellowship and a meal will be Caring for God’s Creation. Young people & children always included, also during school holidays:
meet Sundays in church. We are very relaxed about children moving and talking in church. There is play corner with activity table and toys - children can move freely to and fro.
We want our young people to give the direction what works best for them.
Join other young people here on Sundays normally:
9:30 in Abernyte Church activity table ,
9:30 in Inchture Sunday School (*not in school holidays*),
10.00 in Auchterhouse,
11.00 in Invergowrie Junior Church (plus toys at activity table)

Let's do something together (events calendar):
Everyone is invited, including you 😉

Christian Aid is our churches' way of tackling poverty and injustice internationally.

Money raised goes direct to local people where it is needed.

With Christian Aid we seek real change (not just relief).

Climate change:

We say it’s time for polluters to pay up and repair what’s damaged.

By paying into an international loss and damage fund, the countries and polluters who’ve done the most to cause the climate crisis could help people recover and rebuild when disasters strike and compensate them for all that is permanently lost. The only problem is, no such fund exists – yet!

Sign our latest petition and add your name to our demand that the UK government push for the establishment of an international loss and damage fund here.

As people of hope we refuse to accept the way climate change is going, we struggle against climate change. Positive change can be done. In faith we stand together with our brothers and sisters who have not caused this crisis but are worst affected. As Christians we struggle against this injustice. Some more ideas what else we can do. Can you help with something? Get in touch.
