are important to us.
Age, sex, colour, gender, orientation, faith/doubt, shoe size ... we include all: it’s for everyone, equally.
For activities, services, worship, weddings, blessings, funerals - NO need to be a church member or Christian, but simply have a connection with our local area.
Only at your baptism we ask you to confirm your Christian faith. Don’t get “the God-thing'? Ask us, or have an impartial look at the Christian faith, not specific to any tradition/ denomination. Many questions are answered there..
Each of our gatherings is a happily mixed bunch, ready to give each other a hand, and to serve our community and the world.
We are children and young people, too!
None of us are perfect. Most of us live locally.
Some of us are shy, others outgoing.
We have different strengths and gifts. Join in.
We bear with each other because Christ first bears with us. Christ is our bond, our inspiration, Christ makes us one, a local & worldwide family of faith. We are raised in hope because Christ has risen.
Adults carry many responsibilities, older people may have aches and pains. We all need lifted up, inspired, stirred, confronted and comforted.
We all need to learn from children.
Our churches are children's churches, too!
Children are allowed to be children, and need to be heard. Children and Young People are acknowledged and engaged with, also as part of worship services, including communion.
Some of our gatherings have Young Church / Junior Church / Sunday School, led by people who are good with children.
We have robust safeguarding procedures.
Occasional all-age services
Toys are available in church services
Outdoors with God
Messy Church
Holiday Club ...
Hearing: most churches have a loop system and good amplification.
Mobility: all of our venues have ramped access or ramps that can be set in place.
Learning difficulties: some of us live with them; they don't hold us back from being community in Christ. We have robust safeguarding procedures.
Dietary: gluten-free options should be available when socialising, and e.g. when we break bread and alcohol-free when we share grape juice at communion.
We are seekers, we are on life's journey.
We delight in whatever time and gifts we have together. We'd be delighted to share some of your journey, both sad and joyful, with you: join us.
