is needed in so many ways.
We are small and imperfect but we try what we can. With you we can make more of a difference.
Locally, we have invited to 'welcoming warm spaces' in winter 22/23.
There are a number of initiatives we support with volunteer time and/or money (e.g. foodbanks, Ukraine support, ...).
The bible challenges the causes of poverty and inequality
and we are not quiet about it.
As Christians we are called to tackle unjust structures and violence.
We are world citizens and we want to end poverty also internationally.
Christian Aid is the international aid charity of churches in Britain, we support it.
We believe this planet is God's gift for all life on it.
God loves all creatures equally, humanity one among them. We need to live within creation (not above it).
We have and are reducing our energy usage.
Climate Change was/is our topic on a number of occasions. Many of us have signed Christian Aid campaigns (e.g. 'loss and damage').
We were part of tree-plantings and litter-pickings.
Many of us cycle, walk and use public transport (trying to use the car less).
Some of us are 'eco-congregations'.
