Auchterhouse is a string of villages, 700 people strong, with its own Primary School.

It's up in the Sidlaw hills, 7.5 miles north-west of Dundee, 2.5 miles north-west of Muirhead and 3.5 miles south-east of Newtyle.

Auchterhouse Church is in the Kirkton village, walk just north past the Primary School; access by car through Bonnyton Road.

Address: Kirkton of Auchterhouse, DD3 0QT - it's on google maps, too.

The congregation is exploring new ways to connect with people (wherever they are in life) and young people are very important here.

Service of worship: weekly Sunday 10am (except the last Sunday of the month when the Auchterhouse congregation worships at 11 am in Muirhead instead).

All services of worship are of course public, so everyone is welcome, especially young people.

On a Sunday it's a congregation of around 30; attended by children who can stay or go out to a junior church or crèche.

  • Auchterhouse Junior Church
  • A monthly Guild meeting
  • the Sidlaw Regnal Circle
  • Walk & Talk  invites people to be active and socially connect with each other.

We are exploring youth focus meetings (please make contact).

As Christians we want to make a positive difference in the community so we get involved, see community website (church information there may not be up-to-date ! )
