Dykes of Gray is a development of new housing, part of the 'Western Gateway' of Dundee City.

There are now 1700 people living there, but they are still waiting for community facilities:

a promised village hall, a promised roundabout fit for active travel and

for a new Primary School (now planned to open August 2026).

It's 5.5 miles west of Dundee city centre  and 1 mile north of Invergowrie, 2 miles south of Muirhead.

There is no gathered community there, but there is a lively and active Community group - that is where we support and are engaged, and have contributed in a number of ways, including a community tree planting.

Here we try 'fresh expressions', exploring new ways to create community, in a way that will be appropriate in the context, for the local people.
